TABLY APP – Technology company Sylvester.ai of Kalagria, Canada recently developed the Tably app, which uses a camera to detect if your cat is well or perhaps suffering from some pain.
The application actually uses a camera to determine stress, all depending on the position of the ears and head, the dilation of the pupils, the muzzle and the bristles of the hair. Research from 2019 showed that the so-called scale of cat grimaces is a reliable method for detecting pain in cats.
The British Animal Protection Association RSPCA states that the application is certainly useful, but that owners should pay attention to the whole body, including the tail, which tells us a lot about the condition of our cat.
