Assess whether your pet is ready to be fashionable
There are functional and fashion reasons for dressing pets and today’s modern dogs can hardly bypass some of these “details”. What really matters is that owners need to know some things about dressing their pets.
Not all dogs are for fashion, that is, not all dogs like to wear clothes. If this is the case with your pet and if he is really upset and stressed about it, do not do it. However, many dogs only need to get used to it a little and encourage them in a positive spirit in order to “accept” the clothes. In addition, the media certainly recognized the main trendsetters in this area, so it is known that many world stars have played a role in popularizing dog fashion. The product range is fascinating, from scarves and small details, to ball gowns and jackets decorated with gold thread embroidery. Properly take measures for their clothes
If you have already decided and if your pet agrees with that, then it is wise to learn how to take the right measures, because you will often not be with the dog in the shops. Stores are also reluctant to change if you want to change your wardrobe, and dogs often know how to leave “traces” of use even before the first dressing.
When the dog stands up, measure the distance from the neck to the part where the collar usually stands to the root of the tail, for most clothing items this will be a useful measure. Knowing the size and shape of the chest is also a prerequisite for good grip.
Do dogs need a winter coat?
As you can imagine, most dogs do not need additional protection from the cold because their natural fur works perfectly. However, in extreme conditions, some breeds that have thin and short hair may benefit from additional protection. Also, older dogs can be more sensitive, puppies at an early age and of course dogs with certain health problems.
Dog fashion is largely there, and whether you will opt for a piece of clothing for your dog is still primarily the decision of your pet and then you personally.
