Simba is a pit bull who lives with his owner in an apartment building in Sweden. He is actually one big softy who enjoys scratching and cuddling with his owner, as well as chasing a ball and long walks.
However, many occupants of his building had an aversion to him due to the simple fact that it was a pit bull race that is still considered an aggressive race by the general public. One of the older neighbours was especially afraid of him and always looked at him with fear in her eyes. This lasted until one day, returning from a walk, Simba stopped right in front of the door of the mentioned neighbour, barking and refusing to move. A quiet call for help could be heard from the apartment and when its owner opened the door of the neighbour’s apartment he found woman on the floor with a broken hook. She was injured and locked in the apartment for two full days.
Simba’s good hearing and refusal to move away from the neighbour’s door saved her life. They waited for the ambulance together with her, and the neighbour successfully recovered after several months.
