COURT CASE BECAUSE OF A WANDERING CAT – An interesting court case comes to us from Great Britain, where a psychotherapist, the owner of the black and white cat Ozzy, spent several thousand pounds on a lawsuit against her neighbour, whom the cat regularly visited and ate at.
Ozzy would disappear regularly, and he would return with a full stomach, neat and still silky hair, which caused suspicion by his owner. Her cat’s infidelity was hard on her, so they got him a GPS collar to track where Ozzy was wandering. It turned out that he stayed peacefully with their neighbour every day, where he had his own bed as well as his own eating utensils.
He was caught on the spot several times, ie. resting with a neighbour, after which the psychotherapist initiated a court procedure in which more than 20 thousand pounds were spent. Believe it or not, after a few years, the court dispute was concluded, and according to the verdict, the neighbour agreed to limit her association with Ozzy.
