Oldie but goodie – In Belgrade, Serbia, an organised rescue operation of a cat took place, non less than under the bridge Gazela, over the river Sava.
A cat climbed from the lower side, and got the attention from people passing by with loud meowing. Animal Rescue Serbia was called, and they asked for help from the city utility company, which lifted the rescuers with a crane to the bridge.
The cat was successfully rescued, and the veterinarian’s examination established that there were no health problems except for mild dehydration. An Animal Rescue Serbia volunteer adopted a cat and named it Catharsis.
