A recent study conducted by the car brand Seat showed interesting results. According to their research, driving a dog in a car helps reduce stress while driving and encourages safer driving.
According to the results of the research, about 54% of drivers drive more carefully when traveling with their pet. An interesting fact is that even younger drivers, 69% of them between the ages of 18 and 24, claim to drive more carefully when the dog is in the car.
Research has also shown that as many as 35% of drivers are more relaxed if the dog is in the vehicle with them because riding with a dog reduces stress. However, almost a third of the respondents stated that they were not sure whether there were rules for safe driving of a dog in a car, and more than 90% stated that they did not know what the maximum penalty for non-compliance with the rules was.
So it can definitely be concluded that the owners do not know the laws for traveling with dogs in a car. As well as having to learn a lot more about how to ensure the safety and security of their pets while driving. Research has also shown that many owners need to find safe and above all comfortable car accessories such as a seat belt or car box.
