DOG ALLERGIES – The latest research on the immune system of dogs and allergies, which are occurring more and more often, leads to the worrying fact that “spoiled” dogs are more prone to allergies.
Namely, research in the United Kingdom showed that about 20% of dogs, out of the total number in this country, suffer from allergies caused by their lifestyle. The assumption is that dogs that spend time in a “too clean environment” do not have an organism that is prepared for external irritations. The environment refers to sleeping in beds, more time spent at home than outside, but also the consumption of food intended for people.
According to the same research, there are two races that are more exposed to this problem. These are Labradors and Yorkshire Terriers.
